DIY - Pixel Box Heart

For all who want to start upcycling this project is perfect. Besides helping the environment the result is great for decorating any room.

Materials:
-An old tire
-Color Spray of your choice
-Potting Soil
-Flowers and plants
-
Packing Peanuts and landscape fabric
Optional: If you want to hang the tire get some chain and S-hook

Step 1: Wash the tire well with soap and water, wait for it to dry completely. Apply a coat of paint, in this case they use paint + primer 2 in 1, if you don´t get it, apply a layer of white primer and then the color you choose, this will help you to get more powerful color and better finished. Apply as many coats you need and remember to dry between coats.

Step 2: Wait until the paint is completely dry, then use a drill to make six holes in the bottom, this will help the water to drain.

Step 3: Place the landscape fabric and packing peanuts on the part where you made the six holes. Now the fun part, take the different plants or flowers and place them inside, remember that you can combine different colors and textures. Cover with soil and water, it's time to check that the water drains through the holes.

Step 4: Finally we give you two options for your new pot. The first is to hang it on the wall using a spike. Another option is hanging from a tree, use a metal chain to hold it to the branch of the tree, and using the S-hook hold both ends of the chain and READY!!. A simple way to give a new look to an old tire.

DIY POM POM TABLECLOTH

Materiales:
- Mantel
-Pompones

Supplies:
-Tablecloth
-Pom poms
-Hot glue gun

Step 1: Pick out your pom pom colors and sizes. You may want to lay your tablecloth on your table and mark the parameters you want to add the poms to (You can do this with a few pins). If you are planning to eat on the tablecloth, you don’t want pom poms on top or they will get in the way! If you’re using it for a dessert bar or other display, you have a little more room to play with!
Step 2: When you adhere the pom poms, slightly lift the tablecloth off the ground so the glue doesn’t stick to the floor if you fabric is thin! Unless you want a pom pom-ed floor, too!? Keep adding pom poms until you’re happy with how it looks.

Enjoy!!

DIY Book Planters for Succulents

Materiales:
-Libro

Listo!!

Materials:
-Book
-2 To 3 Succulent Plants (are best small and wider than high)
-Potting soil
-Cutter or scissors
-A plastic bag
-White glue
-Moss
-Pencil and ruler

Step 1: Paste the pages
The night before, apply a thin layer of glue on the pages of the book. No need to be very precise or place over the entire surface. Simply this will help when cutting through the book.

Step 2: Cut the book
Using the ruler and pencil, draw a square on one of the pages, we recommend you leave some loose pages. With the exact or cutter begins to cut the pages of the book, guided the square you drew earlier. You will need to cut at least 1 1/2 inches deep.

Step 3: Cover with plastic
Cover the square with a piece of plastic bag. This helps prevent damage to the book when you place the soil. You can add a bit of gravel on the bag to provide some drainage to the plant.

Step 4: Planting Succulents
Start by placing one of the desired succulent. Add some soil to keep the plant in place. Then place the other succulent and ends up filling with the soil. At the end you can cover the ground with a bit of moss, just to give better presentation.

Step 5: Polish the design
Cut the excess of plastic bag with the cutter or scissors. Blowing the soil remaining on the surface, so as lo leave a clean surface. Spray the plants once a week, succulents do not need much water, but they need a lot of sunlight. When spraying the plant beware
to avoid wet the front page. Ready!

DIY Coloring Flowers

Materiales:
-Flores Blancas (Los claveles son los mejores)
-Cutter o exacto
-Colorante Vegetal

Materials:
-White Flowers (Carnations are best)
-Cutter
-Food coloring
-Glasses with warm water

Step 1: Cut the stem
To create the rainbow flowers, makes a cut in the stems of the flowers, remember not to cut completely from the stem. The more colors you want to add, more cuts will have to do. If you want to colored the flower with only one color, make small cuts at the base of the stem,
for the flower to absorb the dye.

Step 2: Water Coloring
Fill the glasses with a cup of warm water, add about 20 drops of food coloring (red, yellow, blue or you can even combine them) Mix the water to have a uniform color.

Step 3: Let the Flowers
Carefully place a portion of the stem within each color, for example, if you decided to use only the three basic colors (Red, Blue and Yellow), the stem will have three sections, placed one on the glass with red dye, one in the yellow and another one in the blue. If you decide to color a flower of each color, place it within each glass with the color you selected.

Enjoy!!
