LO QUE NECESITARÁS:
- Una cámara Polaroid y película
- Una fotografía de 3 "x3"
- Pintura acrílica negra
- Jabón para lavar platos
- Cinta adhesiva
- Un plato de papel (o una superficie para mezclar la pintura)
- Una hoja de papel
- Pincel
- Marcador negro
Paso 1 - TOMAR UNA FOTO
Si no tienes acceso a una cámara Polaroid, siempre se puede hacer una imitación de Polaroid mediante la reducción de 3 "x 3" de una fotografía y de la elaboración de un marco de cartulina. El marco una Polaroid es 3 1/2 "x 4 1/4", corta el marco en cartulina y pégala sobre la fotografía. Existen unos sobres para hacer las Polaroid como postales y también podías usarlas para hacer una Polaroid falsa.
Paso 2 - MEZCLAR LA PINTURA + JABÓN
Combina una parte de jabón para lavar platos y dos partes de pintura acrílica, mezcla en un plato de papel o cualquier superficie que eligieras. Aquí se utilizó pintura de color negro, pero puede usar cualquier color.
Paso 3 - COLOCAR LA CINTA
Use la cinta para cubrir los bordes blancos de la foto Polaroid. La cinta funciona para proteger los bordes. Usa la misma cinta para pegar la Polaroid sobre a una hoja de papel. Esta será la superficie de la pintura.
Paso 4 - PINTAR
Con la mezcla de pintura y un pincel, pinta sobre la sección de la foto Polaroid. Utiliza un movimiento similar (hacia los lados o hacia arriba y hacia abajo) a lo largo de modo que la pintura se seque mejor. Una vez seca (una hora), pinta una segunda capa para ocultar por completo la foto.
Paso 5 - REMOVER LA CINTA
Una vez seca, retira la cinta de los bordes de la Polaroid.
Paso 6 - LISTO PARA REGALAR
Usando el marcador negro, escriba una nota como "Rasca la foto" en la parte inferior de la Polaroid.

- A Polaroid camera and film OR
- A 3″x3″ photo print
- Black acrylic paint
- Dish soap
- Tape
- Paper plate (or surface for mixing paint)
- Piece of paper
- Paint brush
- Black marker
Step 1 – TAKE A PHOTO
If you don’t have access to a Polaroid camera, you can always make a faux Polaroid by cutting out a 3″x3″ photo print and crafting a card stock border. A Polaroid print is 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, so cut the border out to be that size and paste your print on top. A short cut to that is using a Polaroid Postcard to frame your photo print.
Step 2 – MIX PAINT + DISH SOAP
Combine one part dish soap to two parts acrylic paint and blend on a paper plate or whatever mixing surface you chose. We used black paint, but you can use any color.
Step 3 – TAPE EDGES
Use your tape to cover the white edges of your Polaroid photo. The tape will protect the edges from getting paint on them.Use the same tape to stick your Polaroid down to a sheet of paper. This will be your paint surface.
Step 4 – PAINT
With your paint mixture and brush, paint over the photo section of your Polaroid.
Use a similar stroke (sideways or up and down) throughout so that your paint dries better. Once dry (about an hour), paint a second coat to completely conceal your photo.
Step 5 – REMOVE TAPE
Once dry, remove your tape from the borders of your Polaroid.
Step 6 – PREPARE TO GIVE
Using your black marker, write a note like “Scratch Me” on the bottom of your Polaroid.
Seal it in an envelope and get ready to surprise your Valentine!
