El día de hoy les traemos el trabajo mas reciente del diseñador Italiano Andrea Brena, Brena actualmente tiene sede en Berlín y titula a su proyecto "Knitted Army". El proyecto nace de la idea de no utilizar ninguna herramienta mas que la manos y utilizar una técnica sencilla que cualquiera pueda utilizar. Brena utiliza tiras de tela que desechan las fábricas textiles en Italia y sus dos brazos para tejer varias tiras de tela y con esto crear alfombras, almohadas, sillas, etc. Para rellenar las piezas como cojines y asientos Brena utiliza todos los sobrantes de las diferentes telas para rellenarlos. El crochet permite abrir nuevos horizontes en las posibilidades de este proyecto, el cual puede tomar cualquier forma dependiendo de las habilidades y creatividad de quien lo realice.

Brena uses strips of fabric that textile factories in Italy discard and his two arms to knit several strips of fabric and create rugs, pillows, chairs, etc. To fill the pieces such as cushions and seats, Brena uses all the different fabrics leftover to fill them.
