En 2011, St Clair Superior Development Corporation, en Cleveland OH, inauguró su sexta campaña anual de arte público para celebrar el Año Lunar Chino. Para dar inicio a la celebración se instalaron 25 esculturas de fibra de vidrio con forma de conejo, cada escultura fue intervenida por diferentes artistas creando un diseño único. Las esculturas fueron patrocinadas por decenas de empresas locales y se instalaron a lo largo del barrio de St. Clair y en algunos puntos clave dentro y alrededor del centro de Cleveland. A través de una variedad de programas de educación y otros eventos relacionados con Asia durante todo el año, este proyecto pretende celebrar la conciencia cultural y apoyar a la educación artística y sus artistas locales.
In 2011, St. Clair Superior Development Corporation, Cleveland OH, opened their sixth annual season of public art to celebrate the Chinese Lunar Year. To kick off the celebration, theye installed 25 fiberglass sculptures shaped like a rabbit, each sculpture was intervened by different artists creating a unique design. The sculptures were sponsored by dozens of local companies and settled along the St. Clair neighborhood and some key points in and around downtown Cleveland. In addition to the variety of education programs and other Asia-related events throughout the year, this project aims to celebrate cultural awareness and support for arts education and local artists.
