Fernando Casasempere es un artista chileno, su mas reciente obra se titula “Out of sync” que se está presentando en el histórico edificio de Somerset House en Londres. Esta muestra que consta de 10,000 flores hechas de greda, habla de la conexión que Fernando siente por su tierra natal. Según sus palabras, cada flor es única y representa “una sensación de conformidad, pero que aún nos permite ver las diferencias en imagenes repetitivas“. Además, quería mostrar las influencias de la cultura pre-colombina y que aún se puede trabajar con la greda como un elemento del arte contemporáneo. Los curadores de Somerset House han tenido sólo palabras de elogio para el artista chileno: “Él constantemente quiebra los límites de la disciplina experimentando con distintas mezclas y materiales”. La siguiente parada de “Out of Sync” luego de su término en Londres el 27 de Abril, es Santiago de Chile, donde se estará presentando en las afueras del Palacio de La Moneda. Y finalmente encontrará un lugar permanente en el desierto de Atacama, se cree que cerca de Antofagasta, aunque el sitio exacto no está determinado.
